Seeing as we already have Tekken 2 and the PSP version of Tekken 6 on the service, the most beloved title in the franchise certainly has a shot of making it on as well. Okay, that last one is a PSP title, but I still want it to get a well-deserved update and trophies! Anyway, Portal's great, bring trophies, thanks Sony. Seriously, I would love to see the two aforementioned games as well as a bunch of other trophyless games like Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Dynasty Warriors 6, Dark Sector, and Tekken 5 Dark Resolution. I feel the same way Staff Writer Lee does about Heavenly Sword (another game I adore) about how PS Plus Premium should bring trophies to PS3 classic titles. Aside from the fact the game never got the glorious standalone release it deserved, the game came to the PS3 in the trophy-less era, meaning this absolute gem doesn't have any trophies to collect, let alone a shiny platinum. Instead, it came bundled up in a collection called The Orange Box that also included Half Life 2 and Team Fortress 2. When it comes to the first Portal, well it never got to see a solo release on PlayStation. Even if we only have two games and a VR spin-off to show for it. However, there is no denying how significant of an impact the Portal franchise has had on those who played this mind-blowing platformer. Okay, so Portal is a PS3 game and borders the edges of being classed as a retro game. Check out some of our most-wanted retro PlayStation games for PS Plus below! As we wait, the team here at TrueTrophies has decided to compile a list of classic games we would love to see join the service in the future. Sony has promised to keep updating the classics list regularly, meaning we should see some new and awesome games arrive on the list very soon (although we have yet to see a single new PS2 game on the service). The PlayStation Classics Catalog is slowly growing, with new additions landing on the roster every month. What retro PlayStation games would you like to see on PS Plus? Retro PlayStation games we want on PS PlusThose who are subscribed to the highest PS Plus tier (Premium) will have access to the Classics Catalog - these are games from the PS1, PS2, and PSP era. Here's hoping, then, that Parasite Eve: Symbiogenesis is on the way – even if it will prove a nightmare to type.Update: We have added Portal to the list of games we would love to see come to PS Plus Premium in the future! With so many fantastic and nostalgic games coming to PS Plus Premium every month, we decided to curate a list of games would love to see join the service in the future. While the publisher could simply be futureproofing the series in one way or another, the trademarked name isn't simply "Parasite Eve", instead it sounds a bit more like a moniker or codename. It's worth noting, however, that Square Enix hasn't confirmed a Parasite Eve revival is in the pipeline. It means that I, alongside many others, missed out on what is now considered a horror classic. Perhaps because being scared silly doesn't age, even if the hardware, and the players themselves, do.Īs a horror fan, I am crossing my fingers and toes that Parasite Eve gets a revival because the first game was only released in Japan and North America, not Europe where I live. Horror games, in particular, are seeing a resurgence recently. All without having to hunt down old hardware to do so. Remasters and remakes have been gathering steam in recent years, as they allow a new generation of gamers to play titles they perhaps missed and they allow those who have played the original games to revisit them with a fresh coat of paint.
